I made this collage in tribute to the late Sinead O’Connor and what it feels like being a woman from girlhood on. It’s a constant walking violence, constant being told to shut up, shrink, be small, don’t protest, don’t make noise, don’t fight for your rights, don’t question. A walking wound, being punished for any way in which you exist.
But inside, there are wolves gnashing out, destroying the threads of patriarchy slowly but surely and paving the way with blood, like Sinead.
